FILTERS FOR SYRINGE MACHEREY-NAGEL
TYPE CHROMAFIL PTFE Polytetrafluoroethylene MODEL O 20 / 25
Facilities for CHROMAFIL syringe filters are used for filtration of the material in suspension in liquid samples
Advantages
- Housing PP
- Better stability to solvents compared to acrylate and polystyrene filters
- Shells ultrasonically sealed, not glued
- No plug-in component of the glue
-Filtration Possible in both directions, the liquid can not bypass the membranes Luer lock on the input side
- Secure connection on the high pressure side
- Output Standard LuerLuer for filters to be 3 mm and 25 mm, MiniSpike luer with low dead volume and small outer diameter for 15mm filters
- The flow of liquid is equally distributed over the entire surface of the membrane: this allows a better use of the total area; the filters do not clog up quickly; it has high flow efficiency
- Color coding: The filters with 0.2μm pores have a yellow upper housing, in those with 0.45μm porosity is rather colorless; the different types of membranes differ due to different color
- Low dead volume ~ 80μl for 25mm, 12μl for 15mm, 5uL to 3 mm.
Technical data:
The membrane housing is polypropylene (PP).
This material is very resistant towards most solvents and has a low level of extractables. So it can be used with almost all solvents, acids and bases.
The especially thick rim is ideal for use with laboratory robots
The input and the output of the filter can be connected, via a special adapter, to the columns CHROMABOND® for the selective preparation of the sample.
All filters can be autoclaved at 121 ° C and 1.1 bar for 30 minutes.
A hydrophobic membrane.
Ideal for filtration of non-polar liquids and of gases.
It is very resistant to various solvents as well as acids and bases.
Entering alcohol, followed by water, the originally hydrophobic membrane can be made more hydrophilic.
Membrane diameter 25 mm
100 pieces pack
Porosity 0.20 µm color: yellow above, natural base
