The centrifugal fans used for the realization of the suction installations in chemical laboratories must be produced with suitable materials with aggressive products. The fluids are not in contact with metallic components, the engine has a minimum protection IP55 and is therefore capable of positioning the outside. On board an ON / OFF switch must be provided in accordance with the provisions of Decree Law 19.09.1994 No 626. The positioning outside, on a wall or ceiling, it is recommended to keep the pipe in the laboratory under negative pressure and prevent contamination in the event of cracks as well as reduce noise. We also recommend a manual damper to optimize plant efficiency. The dimensioning must take account of the dimensions of the hood, the load losses due to the size and length of the pipes, the number and type of curves, in addition to the presence of any filters.
